BHN Announces New Leadership Appointments and Promotions

BHN is excited to share two important leadership updates that reflect our ongoing commitment to delivering exceptional, compassionate care to the communities we serve.


Jennifer Doutre Appointed Senior Vice President of Community www.av¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ Health Centers

We are pleased to welcome Jennifer Doutre, LCSW, LADC, as Senior Vice President of BHN’s Community www.av¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ Health Centers (CBHC). With nearly two decades of experience in whole-person healthcare and the non-profit sector, Jennifer brings invaluable expertise in program development, operational management, and leadership to her new role.


As Senior Vice President, Jennifer will collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team to drive the strategic vision and goals for BHN’s CBHC, focusing on improving client outcomes, enhancing service accessibility, and promoting operational efficiency. Her role will be pivotal in continuing to innovate and refine services that meet the evolving needs of the community.


Throughout her career, Jennifer has demonstrated her ability to develop and lead initiatives that enhance client experience and outcomes, boost productivity, and increase revenue while maintaining a focus on improving staff satisfaction.


Jennifer’s leadership philosophy is grounded in the belief that empowering others to become leaders is crucial to organizational success. "I am deeply passionate about developing future leaders," she said. "Mentoring and supporting the growth of others is incredibly rewarding. I believe this investment in people is one of the most valuable things an organization can do."


In addition to her role at BHN, Jennifer serves as an Advisor at the Columbia School of Social Work, where she guides MSW students in their professional development. She also serves as the Secretary on the Board of the Connecticut Harm Reduction Alliance, providing leadership coaching and strategic direction. Additionally, Jennifer is a Commissioner on the Youth and Family Commission in Glastonbury, CT.


Jennifer holds a Master of Social Work from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Connecticut.

Lisa Holland Promoted to Director of Population Health

BHN is also excited to announce the promotion of Lisa Holland to the position of Director of Population Health. Lisa, who holds a Master of Science in clinical psychology, began her career at the Yale University Child Conduct Clinic before joining BHN in 2008. Since then, she has held several roles, from consultant in the Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation program to coordinator of the Springfield Pregnant and Parenting Teen Program.


Lisa’s drive for excellence led her to BHN’s quality department in 2016, where she served as Quality Analyst, Project Manager, and later as Utilization Manager for the Community www.av¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ Health Centers. Throughout her tenure, Lisa has been known for her laser focus on excellence, always striving to improve systems and processes to deliver high-quality care. Her motto, "BHN - GOOD TO GREAT," reflects her unwavering commitment to improving our work and outcomes.


As Director of Population Health, Lisa will leverage her clinical background, extensive knowledge of BHN systems, and experience with quality frameworks to support staff and leaders in achieving the highest standards of care.


We are excited for Lisa to continue her impactful work in this new role.
